নারায়ণ - Narayana Mantra

নারায়ণ হিন্দু দেবতা বিষ্ণুর একটি বিশেষ রূপ। বেদের শতপথ-এ অবশ্য ‘পুরুষ’অর্থাৎ ঈশ্বরকেই নারায়ণ নামে অভিহিত করা হয়েছে। ‘নারায়ণ’ শব্দের অর্থ ‘নার’অর্থাৎ জলে শুয়ে থাকেন যিনি। ভাগবত অনুসারে, অন্ড ভেদ করে বেরিয়ে নার অর্থাৎজল সৃষ্টি করে অবস্থান করেছিলেন বলে বিষ্ণুর অপর নাম নারায়ণ (ভাগবত ২।১০।১০)পৌরাণিক বর্ণনা অনুসারে, প্রলয়ের পর বিষ্ণু অনন্তশয্যায় শায়িত হয়ে নিদ্রামগ্ন ছিলেন। সেই সময় তাঁর সহস্রমস্তক, সহস্র চোখ, সহস্র হাত ও সহস্র পা ছিল। এই সময় তাঁর নাভি থেকে সাত যোজন ব্যাপী এক পদ্ম প্রস্ফুটিত হয় এবং এই পদ্মে উৎপন্ন হন ব্রহ্মা।

Narayana is a special form of the Hindu god Vishnu. In the Vedas of the Vedas, however, the name 'Narayana' means 'man'. The word 'Narayana' means 'Nara', which means lying in the water. According to Bhagavat, the other name of Narayana (Bhagavat.2.6.1), according to the legend of Vishnu, because of the under-piercing of the woman, which was created by the creation of water, Vishnu was asleep in eternity. At that time he had co-workers, thousands of eyes, thousands of hands and thousands of feet. During this time a palm of seven yojana was emitted from his navel and Brahma was born in this pod.
